REVIEW:
Alright, I am a big fan of SF but this one just didn’t live upto my expectations. Maybe this is actually a great book and I’m just a skeptic or perhaps I’ve read too many Asimov’s books to comprehend the “complexity” of the sci-fi space. In either case, other than hi-fi weaponry there wasn’t much to absorb in this set of novellas.
The only brilliant thing for me in this one was the phase of “Transenlightenment”. However that also seemed like something that Asimov had mentioned in his Foundation universe.
Read it if you are a fan. I’m not too keen for a re-read. Read more…
